Overview
We are partnering with a leading consulting firm seeking a Manager to join its Investment Management Strategy practice.
This team advises asset managers, wealth managers, alternative investment firms, private markets organisations, and other financial institutions on growth strategy, operating model transformation, commercial strategy, organisational effectiveness, and enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives.
This is an opportunity to work directly with executive leadership teams, helping clients navigate industry disruption, changing investor demands, technology innovation, and evolving competitive dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Advise senior executives on strategic business priorities and transformation initiatives
- Lead strategy engagements across growth, commercial, product, and operating model strategy
- Conduct market assessments, competitive analysis, and strategic planning exercises
- Develop business cases, transformation roadmaps, and executive-level recommendations
- Support clients through operating model redesign and business transformation programmes
- Analyse financial, operational, customer, and market data to identify strategic opportunities
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Build trusted relationships with senior client leaders
- Contribute to business development, proposals, and thought leadership initiatives
- Lead and mentor consulting teams across multiple client engagements
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience within management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment management strategy
- Experience advising asset managers, wealth managers, private markets firms, hedge funds, or other financial institutions
- Strong understanding of investment management business models and industry dynamics
- Experience developing growth strategies, operating model strategies, or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing project teams and client relationships
- Excellent communication and executive presentation capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree required
